Over the last fifteen years The St. Agnes Grade School Auction has raised over one million dollars, thanks in part to your generosity. Last year’s auction was a huge success, netting over $260,000 to benefit our school and the children that we serve.  These proceeds were used to fund improvements, such as new security doors and surveillance systems for the school, new computers for classroom use, and “Team Boards”, which are interactive teaching devices that are connected to computers.  St. Agnes School is taking great strides in technology, thanks to our wonderful supporters!  Auction proceeds helped purchase textbooks and classroom materials.  They also allowed the opportunity for our students to take some great field trips associated with their studies.  The money we raised made it possible to offer nearly $100,000 in tuition assistance and to underwrite continuing education opportunities for our faculty members, as well as helping to pay salaries.

Grade school auctions were a novelty when we began in 1996, with only one other grade school in the Diocese hosting one, so it was much easier to find supporters than it is today, with almost every grade school (parochial, private, and public) now hosting auctions.
