                                      Qq Week

 

Tuesday-  On Tuesday we will be exploring quarters.  We will make quarter rubbings and flip quarters to graph heads or tails.  We will also talk about questions and question marks. During centers we will be stamping question marks on our Qq paper.

Wednesday- On Wednesday the preschoolers will practice forming the letter Qq. They will also be making a quiet queens reading crown.  Have your students read the q words on their queens crown at home.

 

Thursday-  We will be reading the book The Very Quiet Cricket by Eric Carle.  Afterwards we will be making our own cricket that talks with his wings. The preschoolers will also be picture journal something they like to do quietly.

Friday- On Friday we will be decorating our winter trees in our season book.  We will also be constructing our class quilts.
