Early Education Center News
It is with much thought and prayer that we have made the following decision regarding infant care here at St Agnes. Effective December 31, 2014, we will no longer be offering infant care as part of our Early Education Center program. This decision is based on information gathered while reviewing last year’s financial results and planning our 2014-15 budget. This portion of the EEC is just not fiscally sound to continue to operate.
While we realize infant care is a scarce and necessary service for the community at large, we have come to realize it is not a ministry utilized by many of our Parishioners. To responsibly serve the Parish we feel it’s in our best interest to discontinue infant care and move the toddler care into the main childcare facility. Thank you for past encouragement and we look forward to our future programs that may serve more parish families
A staffing change at St Agnes Church occurred on 10/22 with our music program. As of that date Patricia Eccles will no longer be the St Agnes music director. Like you, St Agnes is grateful to her and her two plus years of service to our school and parish communities. She has helped to enrich our liturgies as well as the several choirs we have here at St Agnes while sharing her time and talent with us. Choir members have been communicated to, and some may be halted as we will begin our search for a new music director. Like all the members of the choirs, St Agnes wishes Patricia the best in her next endeavor.
Parish Ministries & Business Manager
Hopefully you were able to attend one of two recent Town Halls where we announced that St. Agnes has engaged Church Development to move ahead with a feasibility study for the consideration of a capital campaign to begin in early 2015. As we begin this feasibility study process, we highly value your input.
We are asking each Parish member to complete a confidential online survey which can be found by clicking on the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/StAgnesCatholicFS. Please take a few moments to read the case statement before you begin. The case statement contains important information that will better prepare you to answer the survey questions.
If you prefer, you may complete a paper copy of the survey. These will be made available at the back of the church, and can be mailed in the provided confidential envelope. We ask that paper surveys be in the mail no later than Friday, October 31. Online surveys need to be completed by Wednesday, November 5.
By participating in this survey you will have an opportunity to help shape our plans for the future. The Parish Finance Council will study the results of the report and make a decision in how to proceed. The results of the study will be presented to the entire congregation through a newsletter.
Thank you for your past and present support of St. Agnes Parish and thank you in advance for your feedback and suggestions.
